UPCOMING AUDITIONS
AUDITION ALERT FOR THE WORLD PREMIERE OF "A STORK CLUB STORY" Written by Paul Regan & Brett McCaig SYNOPSIS: Big Band dreams. Small town egos. One very stubborn love story. When aging Mitch climbs into his attic to sort through a lifetime of memories, he tumbles head-first back to the 1950’s – where the Stork Club in Port Stanley was swingin’, Louis Armstrong was in town, and a trumpet-playing troublemaker fell hard for the prettiest girl around. There’s a jealous boyfriend, a desperate club owner, a ridiculous disguise, and one forgettable Open Mic Night. Fast, funny and full of heart, A Stork Club Story proves some romances never go out of style. PERFORMANCE DATES: NOV 5-15TH, 2026 LOCATION: ELGIN THEATRE GUILD, ST. THOMAS REHEARSALS: 2-3 TIMES PER WEEK JULY-NOV (BASED ON ACTORS’ AVAILABILITY) GROUP AUDITION DATES: FRIDAY, JUNE 19TH, 6-8PM and SUNDAY, JUNE 21ST, 1-3PM at the Princess Avenue Playhouse in St. Thomas. Actors are asked to prepare a 1-2 minute monologue. During the group audition portion, actors will read from the script and participate in group activities together. To confirm your attendance for either date, please email Heather at [email protected]. *IMPORTANT NOTE* The two actors playing OLD MITCH and YOUNG MITCH should present a believable continuity of appearance, suggesting the same person at different life stages.
