About Elgin Theatre Guild

For over forty seasons, the Elgin Theatre Guild has been entertaining audiences with productions ranging from comedic to dramatic. Run entirely by volunteers, the Elgin Theatre Guild now produces four shows a year that bring over two thousand patrons every year through the Princess Avenue Playhouse.

In addition to theatre productions, we host premier Canadian musical acts. Thanks to a generous donation from the Dorothy Palmer Fund, we have had the opportunity of hosting Hawskley Workman, the Ennis Sisters, Bruce Cockburn & many more. This year, we are pleased to be presenting Juno Award-winner Ian Thomas.
