TOP GIRLS
September 10-20, 2026 Written By: Caryl Churchill Marlene has been promoted to managing director of a London employment agency and is celebrating. The symbolic luncheon is attended by women in legend or history who offer perspectives on maternity and ambition. In a time warp, these ladies are also her co-workers, clients, and relatives. Marlene, like her famous guests, has had to pay a price to ascend from proletarian roots to the executive suite: she has become, figuratively speaking, a male oppressor, and even coaches female clients on adopting odious male traits. Marlene has also abandoned her illegitimate and dull-witted daughter. Her emotional and sexual life has become as barren as Lady Macbeth's. |

A STORK CLUB STORY - A WORLD PREMIERE
November 5-15, 2026 By Paul Regan & Brett McCaig Big band music. First love. Second chances. And a letter that could change everything. Set between the golden glow of a 1950s lakeside dance hall and the quiet shadows of an attic decades later, A Stork Club Story is a sweeping, funny, and deeply heartfelt new stage play about memory, music, and the moments that define a lifetime. When an aging Mitch searches through the remnants of his past before selling the family home, long-buried memories come flooding back — transporting us to the vibrant heyday of the Stork Club, where swing ruled the dance floor and dreams were as big as the brass section. There, a young and impulsive trumpet player collides with a sharp-witted coat check girl who may just be the love of his life — if pride, rivals, ambition, and circumstance don’t get in the way. With a colorful cast of small-town characters, rapid-fire comedy, and the pulse of live big band energy woven throughout, this original production dances effortlessly between past and present. At its heart lies a simple but powerful question: What do we hold onto when everything else is slipping away? Filled with humor, nostalgia, and emotional resonance, A Stork Club Story celebrates the music that moves us, the risks that shape us, and the enduring power of love — even when memory falters. Don’t miss the world premiere of this unforgettable new Canadian play — where the band is swinging, the stakes are high, and some stories are simply too important to forget. |
